Tired of forgetting to start or stop your parking session? ParkMate arrival notifications have you covered.

Simply add your licence plate to your account and enable LPR. You can follow the quick steps at the link below:

When you visit a car park with Licence Plate Recognition (LPR), ParkMate will automatically send you helpful notifications on arrival and departure to begin and end your parking session.

A quick tip: If you choose a fixed product (like an all‑day session), you won’t receive an end‑of‑session reminder when you leave, because you don’t need one.

Please note: LPR may occasionally have a small margin of error. It’s designed to help you start and end your parking sessions, but it shouldn’t be solely relied on.

Starting a Session:
ParkMate is not open

When you arrive at a site, you’ll receive a notification. Tap it to open the ParkMate app directly to the site page.
Choose your parking session as usual.
Confirm your registration number and start your parking session.

Starting a Session:
ParkMate is open

Even if the app is already open, you’ll still receive these prompts.
Once you arrive at a site and your registration is detected, the app will automatically navigate to the site page.
Select your session, confirm your rego, and start parking.

Ending a Session:
ParkMate is not open

When you leave a site while a casual session is still running, you’ll receive a notification.
Tap the notification to open the app, then confirm to end your session.

Ending a Session:
ParkMate is open
